Symptoms can easily develop within a few days after exposure to gonorhea or chlamydia. If you have any pain, burning, itching or discharge (or fever), or even if you think the person may have been a carrier - go get checked out. Gonorhea and chlamydia can be totally symptom free, and still make you sterile!

u should always use protection to be on the safe side.
