Why aren't I sick?
Question:
Answers:
i don't understand how many times i have to tell people, this comment isn't regarding the person asking the question, people act completely shocked that this person didn't catch an STD.
Just because you've been exposed to an STD doesn't mean that you'll catch it, it's not a miracle, it's just the human body, and it works like a machine, it has rules and standards, i will admit that this person did come out lucky, but this shows how STD's are NOT that easy to catch especially if you're a male, and if HIV is MORE rare, imagine how hard it is to catch that, but to the asker, to save yourself the anxiety and paranoia, next time use a condom, and you don't have to worry about a thing.
p.s. and to tripledeath23, i know you're not a doctor, b/c a doctor wouldn't tell anybody that gonorrhea/clamydia and trichomoniasis takes up to 3 years to show up, why? b/c it's not true, chlamydia MAXIMUM 6 months, but the asker clearly stated that he was tested, and his tests came out negative for all std's, it's not HIV we're talking about, and even if we were talking about HIV, if HIV is harder to catch than gonorrhea, why would he test + for HIV and negative for gonorrhea??
You have had unprotected sex twice and both had an std? That aint lucky. Or two people you had unprotected sex with turned out to have an std...hmm that aint lucky either. Both were tested within two weeks of having sex with you...hmmm also not great sign. I wouldnt panic about treatable STD's...might wanna panic about maybe HIV? Herpes?
Dont be to sure of yourself yet that you were lucky it can take up too 3 years for somthing to show up so i would go get checked later on down the road
Both partners?? I wont judge the girls your sleeping with but BOTH partners?
One- you need to use protection
Two- your probably still not in the clear for herpes 2 or hiv since those two tests might take some time for accurate results.
All I can say is don't be a fool. Use protection..later on in life when you have more sense you might have to live things you might regret and things you could have prevented.
