Answers:
Pelvic Inflammatory Disease is caused by a bacterial infection spreading from your vagina to your uterus to your upper genital tract. Usually (about 60-90% of the time, depending on which source you read!), chlamydia or gonorrhea are the culprits. PID can also be caused by abortion, childbirth, IUDs, and douching.

It is possible you have had PID for many years before you began having symptoms, so it may have occurred from a past infection.

This situation doesn't necessarily indicate infidelity. If your PID is due to an STD and if you or your husband had other partners before your marriage, either of you may have become infected then.

At this point it may be crucial for you to see a gynecologist for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
Most likely he is just a carrier of STDs and tested negative, but he gave them to you.
ya go to the doctor
Has your husban been sleeping around, or having an affair?

What? you don't believe me, this happens far too often.
oh no. that happens when the partner screws around. you would think these days people would use protection.
why did they think you had an STD if they didn't do lab work? did you go to real doctor or was this some neighborhood crack head?
hmmm.. you mean like falopian tubes?? maybe you're pregnant or a tubal pregnancy? other then that not sure, try going to your family dr. or OB/GYN. hope you get it all cleared up..good luck!
Its possible that your husband is a carrier of the STD and has no symptoms or traces of it in his system. When you two "interact" the chemical reactions between him and you cause you to have the STD but not him, as he is just a carrier. SOme people are born w/ this and it's OK, but you will want to seek treatment and discuss w/ your doctor how to go forward.
maybe its a urinary tract infection. if your husbands negative for an STD, where did you get it from? they wouldnt just tell you that you were positive and not tell you what it was. you need to see another Dr and get a 2nd opinion.
an std wont send pain down your leg
ask your doctor to send you for blood flow studies of your legs,
there may be a blocked artery
The doctor should have told you what STD you have. Go see a different doctor.
Might have a bacertial infection or yeast or bladder infection or a std the only way to tell is go see your gyn there is this new medicen out to tell you if you have a yeast infection or a female std or somthing you need meds to take care of it I dont the name but its in the female things.Try that
You need a proper workout, looking for any abnormality that may suggest any STD.
It was extremely unprofessional of the doctors at the ER, to tell you the sin without telling the sinner...In other words, ethically, they are commited to refer your case with the probable diagnose (in writing) to your primary health care doctor.
The symptoms you mention above, nfortunately, are too vague to give a proper answer.

It is wise to go to your primeary care doctor and explain him or her, what was told to you in the ER by those doctors...

As far as I know, what happened in the ER, constitures malpractice
Well this could be two things, your husband had treatment already! or the Dr. you went to had assume it was STD, rather than looking under a microscope, and seeing if STD was acuallty there. Some Dr. do this they assume this, because they can, or lazy! I have had this experience, before if you ever suspect you have a STD, try a public health center, or a STD clinic, you will find better results, they test STD's all day long.
You mentioned that you were diagnosed with Pelvic Infammatory Disease-well, guess what? I was diagnosed with the same thing and tested negative for all STD's. The doctor told me that some times a woman's bacteria that naturally occurs in her body sometimes gets out of wack and can cause this.
Yeah he should get tested again. Thats gross. He definitely gave it to you if your are not sleeping with anyone else.
