Does anyone who has MTHFR have blood clotting issues and how are you treated?

I had DVT and other clotting issues after surgery last year, when I was unaware that I had MTHFR. I was started on Coumadin, but that did not work for me..I had 2 pulmonary embolisms while on it. I now am on Lovenox 70mg injections every 12 hours for life!! I am curious also to hear from others about this!
