Tell your doctor that you 'pooped black'. Black stool can be a sign of blood in you GI track, which is pontentially quite serious. It could be anything from food poisoning to an ulcer to a tumor (which is unlikely). If it's a one-time thing it's probably nothing, but get it checked out.
If it's a reoccuring problem you'll probably be sent for a barium swallow, and maybe even a colonoscopy.
