write directions for the doctors on your body with a sharpie... depending on what you're having done. Examples "opperate on this leg" "Don't opperate on this leg" "Why are you reading this message? This is my private area." "Please don't leave a scarr" "Goldenpalace.com" or "Don't screw this up or I'll sue."
You could always read a book too.
what operation, well, the doctor knows best for you...
You most likely will not need to bring much with you. The wait shouldn't be very long. Books and the magazine should be enough.
