Answers:
STD's are transmitted through contact with an infected partner. I think you meant infected, not effected.

Condoms help prevent the spread of STD's, but they aren't foolproof.

Not necessarily - you could get the infection by contact with the infected area with your hand, and then transmit it to yourself if you haven't washed.

Yes, UTI's can be cured with antibiotics. This is not necessarily true of all STD's, however. And UTI's, while they can be caused by sexual contact, are not considered an STD.

Um, no.

Here's hoping you didn't really try that. UTI's are caused by bacteria entering the urethra -- the means of it getting there are irrelevant.
1- no 2- yes 3-no 4-yes 5-dirty condom 6- HELL NO! 7- probaly, but dont use seran wrap, or ballons, or lunch bags! CONDOMS only.! or you will get an std for sure, or worse.
OK...First of all, urinary tract infections are caused when bacteria (usually from your booty) get into your urethra (pee hole). That happens VERY easily when you have sex, with or without a condom because sex is wet. Bacteria travels through fluids. You will significantly reduce your chances of getting a urinary tract infection if you pee right after you have sex. The urine pushes the bacteria away from the urethra. Also, drinking cranberry juice can cure a mild UTI. If it isn't mild, no big deal, just get some antibiotics. UTI's are VERY common.

Secondly, if your partner has an STD, even if you cannot see it, you can get it. Condoms reduce your chances of getting it, but are not 100%. For instance, if your partner has herpes and a "blister" comes into contact with your skin, it can be transmitted to you.

AND- the only substitute for a condom is no sex. Condoms are made to be rubbed on and moved around. Saran wrap is not. Condoms are latex.saran wrap is a very thin, probably permiable, plastic. Do yourself a favor, get some free condoms at a clinic and use them.
urinary tract infections are common and curable, they are commonly caused by bacteria entering your "pee hole" during sex... with or with out a condom... there are other ways to get one too.anti biotics will cure it... untill then go to the drug store and ask for AZO for UTI

Yes you can get an STD even if your partner wears a condom (HPV or Herpes) you and him wil probably never know you have it cause it is hard to test for herpes and there is no test for hpv (Genital Warts) which cause cervical cancer, unless you have sypmtoms ... and 80% of people who have it have no symptoms.

seran wrap will not make a good condom, you should use it though if he is going to pleasure you orally though cause stds are transmitted orally as well, you can npt get a desiese from kissing though.. every time you have sex always use a condom. tais will definitly cut down your chances for infection
