I have a thyroid problem.?

Question:
That has gone hypothyroid can anyone describe the best diet to lose weight till they level out my medications

Answers:
Your weight gain is due to you hypothyroidism.
The fat is not normal fat but due to your decreased metabolism.

Eat sensibly .When you start on your thyroid replacement therapy you will be started on a low dose and built up gradually(depends on age other medical problems such as heart disease).

You will then loose this weight as your thyroid level returns to normal-I promise.
Hypothyroidism is a satisfying condition to treat-
The best diet when hypothyroid is reduced carb and avoiding goitens and fluoride. The best thing for weight loss though is getting the morning TSH around 1.0 if you are on T4 or getting the free t4 midrange and the free t3 high in range if you are on a T4/T3 med like Armour. If you are not at these levels, weight loss will be almost impossible, even with diet and exercise. I know, I've been there
