Do i have HIV? can i be cured?
Question:
and only once have had unprotected oral sex with one of them.
i have been to the doctors 2ce in the past 3 weeks for a 'urin tract infection' and also the 'flu' is there any possility that i could be HIV+?
if i am, what does that mean? will the doctor be able to give me something to cure it? will i die earlier?
Answers:
Okay, I dunno how you cannot know that HIV is NOT CURABLE!! And if you have the slightest thought that you might have HIV you need to get tested immediately!
If you are HIV positive then there is no cure & then later it would turn into AIDS & yes you would die earlier.
If you do have HIV, it is uncurable. However, there are drugs you can get that will keep in generally unnoticable; but it will never go away.
Get an HIV test to put your mind at ease. You probably don't have HIV, but you should take a test anyhow.
get checked for HIV - there is a blood test - when i was sexually active i got checked once a yr.
there are many treatments for it now - it is not the best disease to get but there are treatments.
don't worry yourself sick - get tested if your doctors tell you don't worry - tell them you are already worried and you want to know.
Whoa. Relax. You are overreacting. It sounds to me that you have a legitimate infection/virus. I doubt it is AIDS.
If you are concerned, however, ask your doctor to test you for HIV. There is no cure, by the way.
first of all...urinary infeciton has to do all so if you hold your urine to much...and poor hygene.think about that...having the flu its not necessary...a sign of aids...alot of people dont know is the flu and cold syntoms is caused by viruses..and viruses dont die...they just change host...pay attention to this detail..when someone has the flu or cold it just goes to somebody else...so think about how your eating habits are...and also could be the medicine your taking is not having a effect on this flu that you have..you should try changing it...
about HIV... if your positive...yes...it will be in your for life...but the drugs now at days a pretty strong but expensive.but will make your illness unoticeble..but you will have to tell your partners.. if you had protected sex just when there was vaginal penetration..and not anus..then...your infection also can be cause by it...even if you had protected sex and you had both places penetrated.it could cause infection...allot of people are crazy for anus sex but its one of the most easiest way to infect the urinary tract and mouth.good luck
GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR AND HAVE THE STD/AIDS tests done! They will take some blood out of your arm and you will get a call later with results...If you are healthy, let that be a lesson to you...These are not the days of our grand-mothers...
If you do have HIV there is no cure but there are some pills that your doctor will give you and you need to take those everyday eat right exercise and you will live longer but eventually HIV will turn into AIDS and cancer and you will die
The only way to know if you have HIV is by doing a blood test. If you have doubts, you just simply do the test. You should always protect your self in all type of sexual encounters, you will never know if the other person is safe. And if you have it, I hope you don't,.their is NO CURE!! So, do the test and protect yourself.
Well if you dont have it then let it be a lession to you, sex without out a condom is serious business thats why I always say no unless were wrapin it up cause people mess around and you dont know were they have been, I've had two stds cured at one time between two people I mest with so you never know! and if you do have it you'll live till maybe 60 or 70 now adays so dont let these noobs scare you HIV/AIDS can be treated/not cured but who wants to live past 70 anyway! theres nothin to do:) lol
you do not have HIV, you had safe sex, oral sex is not a sufficient way to transmit HIV, there is no cure, but medication is so strong that people live a lot longer, literally decades longer.
Before you let your mind think the worse, just get yourself tested?? No, there is no cure for it. UTI's are very common in women after having sexual intercourse. Having the "flu" or a viral upper respiratory infection, does not indicate HIV. This "flu" seems to be going around. I hope that this helps.
