My ex-girlfriend had herpies for 4 years now. she was raped and the guy who raped her past it to her. when she went to the doctors the DR. told her she has herpies. She had 6 orther boyfriends and out of does 6 she told 2 that she has herpies. last year 2006 i was getting bumps on my genitles and i did not know wat it was i thought maybe acne or something. sometimes it got even worse. i was in pain. when i showed it to my ex-girlfriend she looked shocked. even tho it looked bad she still wanted to have sex. I tried to see a doctor but that did not go good. January 2007 she starts crying to me. she told me remember when i told u that i was raped , well i forgot to tell u 1 more thing . I also got herpies. she then tells me that if i want to leave her she would understand. I wanted to kill her. but i said no i will stay with u because i love u and we will make to make this work. 3 months later she wants nothing to do with me now. I told her that i will not pass this to anyone.

I feel your pain. The same thing happened to me and it sucks, but if you blow her brains out your next girlfriend will probably be your future cell mate. I was in the same position as you and super pissed but it's really not worth your life just to ruin hers. Your best bet is to just move on and find a new girl. You are screwed. They don't go away, ever. Get some valtrax, it should slow down the amount of outbreaks you have. You can, according to the commercials, have a healty sex life, stay on the medication, use condoms, and try and make the best of it. Good luck

I am sorry for you. Herpes is cause from a virus so there is no cure. They can give you and antiviral medicine to help with the symptoms. The first outbreaks is the most painful and the longest to get over. It can lasts several weeks. Then the virus retreats to the nervous system where it lays dormat until the next breakout. (Usually 4 out breaks a year, but can be brought on by stress, illness, surgery, vigorous sex, diet, etc...).

I know you feel angry right now, later you will feel depressed becaus you know that once you have the virus, you can never get rid of it. However, you can still live a normal, healthy life. You should learn all you can about herpes. You can still have sex (use a condom--double it if you want, but don't have sex when you have an outbreak, when you see sores). I think the last thing to do is resort to any kind of violence. It will only make things worse. What you should do is talk to your doctor about possible solutions to the problem. It will never go away and is something you will be living with the rest of your life but it is something that you can live with. When it comes to the dating aspect.Look into dating people with a similar situation as yours or if you meet someone be honest with them about the risks take it from there.

Herpes can't be cured it only be controlled with medicine but it is still possible to get a breakout and most definitely you an pass it to someone without heaving a outbreak . She should heave told you before you guys even had sex . I'm sorry to hear that she was so irresponsible .

**** happens. next time you need to be more careful. always us protection. genital herpes has no cure but there are many medications out there that can ease the flare ups. you an still have sex but you need to make sure yo use protection or the other person will be at risk of catching it. as for your ex-girlfriend, shes just a *****. if you are having sex with someone that is the first thing that should be said. make an appointment with your doctor now. the longer you wait the worse it will get.
