Has anyone here gained weight with Paxil?

Question:

I was on Risperdal and it made me gain 150 pounds...I stopped that many months ago and am now only on Paxil and Geodon...the Geodon isn't supposed to make me gain weight (my therapist said) but the Paxil can. Anyway I think the Paxil is making me eat like crazy.

Yes, Paxil does have a side effect of weight gain. BUT, if you eat right and excercise you will be fine! There is no excuse to be fat due to a mediaction.

I am on paxil as well and I havent noticed it make me gain weight but it makes me crave food like crazy which makes me mad because my therapist knows how much I am scared to gain weight.

I take Paxil every day. I am very thin. Paxil does not make me gain weight at all. If you are on Paxil because you are anxious.....you may be eating due to your anxiety problems, not the Paxil. Talk to your doctor about this.
