Popping in ears when i swallow but doc said i had no fluid behind my eardrum?

Question:
i had an ear infection in my right ear about a month ago. it went away with antibiotics, but there has been popping sounds in that ear when i swallow. i went to the ENT and was told that i had no fluid in my ears and said my eardrum was fine. i also got a hearing test and was told that my hearing was normal. but along with the popping, that ear would feel full sometimes, but not all the time and i would also feel a little nausause for a little while. could it be from fluid in my eustachian tube? what would i need for this? also, is there any danger of permanent hearing loss from this? i hope not

Answers:
This is an old timers' remedy, but it really works:

With your head laying to one side, then the other, drop a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in the ear. Wait for about five minutes, then let it drain out by turning your head the other way.

It sounds funny and fuzzy, but believe me, it really does work!
try a dentist, you might have TMJ which causes that popping
You may have a possible jaw fracture, or a back tooth problem. Normally when you swallow you clinch your jaws. Get it checked out.
