I'm sure this affects your quality of life because there are many things you cannot do. Have the doctors (i.e., the ENTs) explained why the surgery is not a good idea right now? Do the risks outweigh the benefits?
Are your tracheal rings weak? Can they do a tracheostomy and fit you with a Passy-Muir Valve to allow you to speak? Are there any tracheal stents that would help?
Is the stridor expiratory, or inspiratory? It may be you have vocal cord paralysis in the medial or paramedian position, and I know there's not much that can be done, except lateralization of one vocal cord.
Have you been seen in a teaching hospital? ENTs in teaching hospitals are usually more aggressive in treating patients like you. The attendings (professors) are active in research and are up on all the latest techniques. See if you can get some advice that way.
u must use the CPAP every day i.e. u must do positive presure exersises twice every day.walk every day to exersise your lungs. u must trie not to have surgery
