Question for people with scoliosis?

Question:
I have scoliosis and my spine curves to the left. I noticed that the left side of my body is slightly different than my right. Sight in my left eye is worse than my right, Hearing is worse in my left ear, etc. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed similar problems and if this is caused by scoliosis.

Answers:
My sister has a severe case of scoliosis but she doesn't have any problems like that. Her main problem is that her left side is actually mis-aligned (shoulder is lower and hip is out of whack). Besides that, nothing too serious. Some occasional back pain, but not much.
honey , I probably think so you have scoliosis. In High School , the nurse noticed that i had a curve on my back so i went to see a specialist for it and he said that once you're 18 there is no need to worry about it because you're done growing. For me that was a mild scoliosis. So ask your doctor about it, I hope this helps.
They wouldn't be caused by scoliosis, but quite a coincidence. Do you have a compensating curve to the right in a different part of the spine (making an S-curve)? This would be the body's way of compensating and keeping you balanced.
It is conceivable that the left eye and left ear function could be related, IF the cranial nerve that goes to each is the same number, and IF there was a problem in that nerve path. I think that, even if there was, doctors' knowledge doesn't yet go that far.
I have scoliosis and I have never experienced problems like what you're having.
