Oxygen Masks?

Question:
Does anyone know the name of the type of oxygen mask that sits on your chin open, its used instead of the nasal cannula prongs. Its just open and the oxygen is strong enough you can still breath it in.

Answers:
It's called a Face Tent. They are normally used for patients who need humidity but won't wear an aerosol mask. It can run on air or oxygen. Usually, there is a large nebulizer attached to the gas source to give the patient lots of humidity. They can be used after surgery, when a patient has a nose issue, facial burns, and there are a couple more reasons that I don't remember at the moment.

Basically, the Face Tent is used when the patient will not tolerate a regular aerosol mask or the face is damaged so that wearing a face mask would not be safe.
GO AND SEE YOUR CHEMIST OR TELL SOMEONE TO GO FOR YOU.........

NEBULIZER MASK YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO ATTACH THAT TO YOUR OXYGEN, IT ALSO COMES WITH ONE FOR SOLUTIONS...
