I'm an SVT patient. Your physician may order a EKG or he/she may place you on a 24 hour holter monitor. These tests will detect any abnormal heart rhythms and will also check your heart rate. 4 years ago, I was placed on medications however my condition never really got any better. I then had an ablation done by an electrophysiologist. Good Luck to you!
it would show up on a ekg,echo, or a even your basic plain jane heart monitor. its a really pretty easy to diagnose disrythmia
