Can i fly with emphysema?

Question:
I have emphysema and will be flying soon. Is this a good idea.

Answers:
Check with your doc, you might need to up your medications before you fly, or you may need supplemental oxygen while in the air
Not really. And if the airlines find out thay might ban you from the flight.
I would ask your doctor. Sorry can't help no more. Good luck.
I would definitely consult my GP as to the severity of your particular disease, however, my father in law suffered and flew to Australia and he had also suffered a stroke several years earlier.
no problem just keep your mouth shut at the check in having said that I have seen loads of ppl fly it
No, you need a 'plane.
Depends how bad your lung function and p02 are. You need specific advice from your physician.
