A somewhat solid mass has remained in the arch of my right foot?


it started as swelling in my ankle and foot, when the swelling was mostly gone except for my arch . what can this mass be?? can it be calcium?? can it be a blood clot?? are there any over the counter medication i can get that may simplky dissolve this mass?? it`s about golf ball size and really does`nt cause pain,just discomfort

skin redness?

Okay, here goes an answer from one of those people saying they had the same thing, BUT, I really did - I promise. Mine ended up to be a cyst that had to be surgically removed. It wasn't such a bid deal and besides, you will get to wear one of those big, beautiful, black boots for a couple of weeks after the surgery. And yes, you will need pain pills after the surgery, even if it doesn't hurt you right now. It certainly will later - I promise! So, no over the counter remedies for this one. You need to get to a foot specialist, a podiatrist, and let him give you a diagnosis and a treatment plan. Best of luck to you!
