What fruits and veggies are rich in potasium for lowering blood pressure?

Question:

Answers:
Your question is two fold.
The first answer is that potassium ions are found in bananas, tomatoes ,all citrus fruits and to a lesser extent green vegetables.

Secondly Potassium ions DO NOT lower the blood pressure. A low sodium chloride (table salt) intake contributes to lower a blood pressure.

In any case your blood pressure is not to be concerned about yet.

Hope this answers your question.
I can think of potatoes, oranges, raisins, and bananas right now.
Bananas are very high in potasium
bananas and dark green veggies like spinach broccoli, oranges and citrus, also check the labels on your orange juice cause some brands actually have a good amount of potassium in them.
I would worry if it has been going up .. try to ea more green veggies and yellow ....mine is 110 /73 most of the time and iam 31... so let me know how it's going if you wanna talk e mail me ok .:)
raising your potassium does not help to lower BP.a low fat, low sodium diet rich in fruits and veggies will help...
bananna's oranges tomatoes
yes worry, but not too much as that will raise your blood pressure even more. Try eating grapefruit, lots of it and oatmeal. STAY AWAY FROM SALT CONSUME NO MORE THAN 1000 MG DAILY
