I used to be pretty good-looking but 6 months ago i got a nose infection and it makes my nose look out of shape and big. I have been taking tablets and nasal creams like napatism (or sometging along those lines) and bacterium. The infection goes away but comes but when i've nearly finished the course and is back again when i've stopped taking the tablets. The doctor doesnt want to put me on a prolonged course because i am only 15 and it would harm my teeth or something. I have to be 16 to go alone and my Mother and father won't bring me in to the Doctor because she thinks I have been taking too many tablets over the past 3 months. What should I do? It is so frustrating!

Who knows? it could be the tablets them self's or it could be from external infection from touch? your body may be sensitive to chemicals which make your problem worse. you mainly should not be so self conscious about your nose. pull your cap down over it to hide if you are that concerned
get another nose
my husband gets nose infection from time to time. It usually flares up if he's a bit run down or stressed. Watch what you use on your skin and try and eat a balanced diet. Your doctor is probably being cautious as taking too many tablets defeats the purpose of taking them as your body builds up an immunity to them and they wont work, also many contain steroids which thin the skin and make it more prone to burning etc. You dont say what country you live in but you should be able to go and see a doctor on your own at 15 years old. You can in the UK anyway.
