Stomach explosion( a very serious question. r there any doctors out there?)?
Question:
i was on pain killers, so i dont quite remember what they told me it was. i have it in a folder somewhere...
something about acid in my stomach leaking,
whatever it was, i had to take 7 pills for about a week for it to go away
(keep in mind, i finally left the hospital around 4am)
i was just wondering if ANYONE could identify this with a name??
its starting again and it would be really helpful to the doctors and to myself if i could provide them the name as soon as i get there to be treated much faster. and i also want to do some reasearch on it.

just saying thanks for all of the ppl who took their time and answered this
it means a lot to me

Sounds like acid reflux to me. It's technicall called GERD..."gastro esophageal reflux disease". I have it myself when I don't watch my diet.
Lemme guess...the painkillers you've been taking are ibuprofen, aspirin or the like. That's what made the hole in your stomach. If you haven't stopped taking them already do so immediately!
Of course, if you're not taking these (they're called NSAIDS - look up the complete list online) then you have other issues.
Could you have perforated your stomach lining? If you have and this is where the stomach acid is leaking from I know it would be very painful. Don't take aspirin for this though, it's not good. Ibuprofen should definitely not be taken if you have an upset stomach as it can make it worse.
You may need to keep going back to the Dr/hospital and ask as many of them as you can. Even get second or third (and so on) opinions if you want. Your health is not something that you should be messing around with. Good luck and try not to worry as this can increase the amount of acid your stomach produces.
Good luck!
