Earring Infection?
Question:
Answers:
Peroxide, and yes, take them out, replace them with nickel free earrings, I was not allergic either but my daughter and I both have had issues even with 14k gold earrings- go nickel free and you will not have any problems.
PS: I agree, wait the 6 weeks, don't mess with them, turn them now and then, after 6 weeks, put nickel free in them. You can get them at any department store, Kohl's, Walmart, anywhere.
make sure your turning them when your cleaning, and do not use rubbing alcohol or peroxide. It's normal for them to get crusty when there healing, use a q-tip to remove it, and you can always check back where you got them pierced for them to take a look.
Good Luck!
Get medicated vaseline or neosporin. Alcohol is too strong and drying. The medicated vaseline is brown and both that or the neosporin will stop the infection and moisturize it at the same time.
Okay...I am like a professional of earring infections.I 6 pericings currently(all ears for now)...and its soon to be seven. So I say twist the earring everytime you clean them.Take out the earring and clean it off. Make sure its not all gross. If that doesnt work than you are allergic. Get sterling silver or gold studs to replace them. Or studs that say non-allergetic. IF that doesnt work email me at: hannabnanner@yahoo.com
OK. PLEASE LISTEN TO ME 'cause here's the problem: The earrings that you get at first should ALWAYS remain in your ears for 6 WEEKS---DON'T take them out. After 6 weeks, MOST PEOPLE are ok. to take them out and clean them. Let the infection heal before putting these back in. After it does, put them in AND DON'T TOUCH THEM PERIOD for 6 weeks solid. I don't mean to sound like a "drill instructor," but you'll keep having this same problem if you don't do the steps exactly as I mentioned.
