If you feel like giving up...?
Question:
Answers:
i don't know what medication it is but if its giving you suicidal tendencies then i suggest that you quit taking that med, and maybe ask your doctor for a new med.
again i don't know your problem but i have been on all kinds of antidepressants and to no avail they have all failed, i had to take care of my situation my self and persevere through my anxieties.
i truly believe we all have it in ourselves to over come our failings.
all i kept thinking when i got suicidal tendancies was all the people it would hurt if i were to do something like that eg, my nephews, sister father and mother.
and yes reading the bible did help me, but i don't really believe the bible in the whole sense anymore, good book though
Switch you to a different medication. Possibly provide counseling. Nothing serious, so don't worry. ^^
If you feel that way go to a doctor ASAP.
There are plenty of medications out there that won't give you bad side effects.
Please let your doctor know ASAP
I don't think its a bad idea if the medication is doing that to you they would probably decide something else would be better for you when i was younger they had me on depakote and prozac and ritalin and just about anything you can think of in the end the only thing that I really needed was Jesus.
They would more than likely have to have you committed to the psych ward either in their hospital or in one nearby (depending on if the hospital has a psych ward). You would be kept there until you became stable. This is the law that they are required to follow. It's called the Baker Act.
Probably switch you to a different medication
They would immediately get you off the drug. Depending on what it is, they may give you some sort of antidote to remove it faster. And you'll be kept under close observation. You'd pretty much have to be admitted. And you'll have to talk to the psych doctors.
more than likely you would be put on a 72 hour hold on a psych floor, during which time they would switch your meds to something that would help you, rather than make you worse. By law, if you have intent to harm yourself or others, you can be put on a 72 hour hold (that's the maximum they can hold you, you CAN be let go sooner if you're better). I would go to the ER if I were you, spending time in a nice private room would be better than dealing with the horrible mood swings.
just tell them what your doctor said, he might prescribe you something else until you can get to your own doctor. GO!
