Wolud there be a drug interaction if you are taking Prilosec 40mg and Zantac 150mg if you still felt the burn?

Question:
I take Prilosec 40mg because I have a Hiatal Hernia and acid reflux. Sometimes I need to take something more would there be a drug interaction between these two drugs?

Answers:
yeah its fine.no interaction.are you eating stuff your not supposed to.that always messes me up.do tums work for you?regular milk helps me sometimes, but i dont have that much of a problem. you could also try switching to nexium, prevacid or protonix. one might help you more than the other, but they dont have generics yet.
No drug interaction involved here. However, you need to talk to your doctor and tell him/her that your problems are still persistent. Forty mg of Prilosec is the highest strenght available. It may be time for you to be switched to another medication or maybe even think about surgery.
You don't need to take both of them together
Prilosec is a proton pump inhibitor that stops acid production more effectively than Zantac. Prilosec's action also stays longer and is the prefered standard treatment. No interaction.
