Blood after going to the bathroom and vomiting?

Question:
Okay, I have been having issues (a lot) with my stomach lately, went to the er yesterday after I was vomiting blood. They said they thought it was a hernia, but to follow up with PCP. They gave me Pepcid and sent me on my way. They didn't address my fever, chills, or body aches. Today as I went to the bathroom (2), there was a lot of blood. I don't believe it was hemorrhoids as I have had them before and it was different. Also it seems weird timing that it happened the day after vomiting blood. Could a hernia cause this?

Answers:
No, but an ulcer can cause both. You definitely need to see a doctor, before anything serious occurs.
Go to the doctor
get to your Dr asap =you need medical help now
The er was wrong to send you home. Get to your doctor ASAP.
I would go to the emergency room as soon as possible. If you are vomiting blood and passing blood you need to be seen now! It's conceivable that you could have an internal injury of some sort.
go back to another doctor and demand they look further your the only one suffering so see someone Else for a second opinion.
You should see a Dr...
I would follow up pretty much right away, insisting that they listen to you bleeding out both ends. You were passed on too quickly, and you have quite serious symptoms. So don't wait around and wait for an calming answer that you think you can just choose and hope it all goes away. It is extremely abnormal to be bleeding as you are. It is certainly not just an upset stomach. I urge you in the strongest possible terms, to get up immediately and get to an emergency room. I will not try and convince you with a lot of alarmist talk from the Nurse practitioner I live with. If you value yourself at all, get up and get help immediately. PLEASE! NOW!!
Get to the doctor immediately!! No, it is definitely not caused by a hernia. More likely a bleeding ulcer or something else. My brother ignored similar symtoms, thinking they'd go away. He died a couple of days later of hemorraghic esophagitis. Had he seen a doctor, he would probably still be alive. ]
INSIST on tests to determine the cause.
