Hernia.
The most likely answer is a hernia.
Do see your Doctor.
Helz, you wouldn't be able to feel your ovaries from outside your body even if you were really really skinny! Never mind a cyst on one of them! Bless! How old are you?? It's probably just an insect bite or something similar!
You wouldn't feel an ovarian cyst, but you could feel a lipoma which is a benign tumour found on fatty deposits anywhere on the body. Check with your doctor just in case its anything more serious.
If you have had any kind of internal surgery, such as getting your appendix removed, it could be scar tissue. But it sounds like its probobly a hernia, particularily if its bubble shaped.
It could be a lot of things. Don't panic. If you're like me you're probably imagining the worst, but there are a lot of things that it could be. And not all of them are bad. I get bumps like that, usually in my joints and its just fluid build up.
Ovarian cysts are usually lower than what you are describing. Next to the inside of your pelvic bone.
hernia..but go to your doctors
It could be a few things. Firstly, have you had any abdominal surgery? If you have it could just be some scar tissue. As you said, it could be ovarian cysts but they are usually felt further down in the pelvis. Or as some others have posted, it could be a hernia. Your best bet would be to go and talk to your Dr. and get the appropriate tests and scans.
Good luck and I hope this helps!
