Blood pressure?

Question:
is there foods you can eat to help lower blood pressure or drinks? thanks

Answers:
The rules are pretty simple. Low fat, low cholesterol, low refined sugar, and most important for BP - low salt (sodium).

Cleveland Clinic has a web page that address this very well.

And if you believe TICH4592 above then you don't need to worry because as he says there's no such thing as "Blood Pressure". Hmmmmm... No pressure in the circulatory system! I wonder how the blood moves through our bodies? Maybe it just flows from the top to the bottom and disappears as it leaches out our feet.

NOTE:

First he says "There's no such thing as "BLOOD PRESSURE". "

Then his next sentance says "There are basically four (principal) blood PRESSURES."

So IS there blood pressure or NOT?
Fresh veggies and other high fiber foods. Exercise and meditation work well also or in conjunction with a healthy diet. Avoid prescription drugs if possible, but don't ignore chronic hypertension, that could cost you in the long run.
remember that salt plays a big part in high blood pressure. avoiding salty foods or avoid adding salt to your foods ! Processed foods like frozen dinners etc have lots of salt so be caredful and read the back of the package.
There are plenty of foods including fresh vegetables, fruits and salads that you can eat that will hep keep your blood pressure lower. Try keeping away from adding salt to your meals also. Salt (sodium chloride) has been known to elevate blood pressure. There is plenty of sodium in most of the processed foods we eat, anyway. Why add more?
As for drinks, stay away from alcohol. Drink plenty of water and fruit juices. Don't drink soda.
Best of all, exercise...walk...ride a bike..
If your doctor has told you you have high blood pressure, make sure you follow up with him at intervals to get it checked.
Good luck.
No. There's no such thing as "BLOOD PRESSURE".
There are basically four (principal) blood PRESSURES. They all behave differently, for different biological purposes.
Some need to be low, some need to be high, and all serve the needs of the body. So, lowering one may be good, or may be bad, especially if it's lowered by artificial intervention , typically by beta-blockers.
