First Dave, at 14 years it is not unusual to have acne.
Acne is usually a result of hormones and in most people eventually clears.
There are a few things that you can do to help reduce your acne. These aree natural remedies so try them first before resorting to antoibiotics and such
Wash your face with a mild soap two or three times a day
Avoid eating fried food and high sugar snacks.
These two things have helped a lot of people with their acne.

ProActive!!! This stuff is the absolute best!! It will work way faster than 4/5 weeks! It makes your skin a lot softer too. It is like magic! My friends all have acne and use it! I use it too and I don't even get zits!!!
first of all you are not alone in this peoblem . second you can't get rid of it in 4 or 5 weeks . you can improve your condition but not complete recovery . first you have to know what grade it's and is it inflamed or not . if it's not inflamed and is grade one you would use doxycycline 100mg twice daily and you would use some topical creams like azalic acid or adaplene gel . you also have to avoid using any face cleansers that contains soap or any chemicals that actually worsen your case you have to use mild cleansers that are soap free and specially intented for use by acne patients . good luck buddy
not in 4 weeks
PROACTIVE!!
proactive my bro had acne bad made fun of him calling him a ******* but after using proactive it gotten alot better only disadvantage is that it a little expensive...but it works!!
Eskamel cream is available over the counter in UK and has been effective in my family. It is a suspension of sulphur in an antiseptic base, and is flesh coloured for European skin.
You use after a warm wash late in the day, and leave it on all night. There is a slight aroma of sulphur. After two weeks, my daughters all saw improvement and after four weeks all were happy to show themselves in public! Of course, girls can use cosmetics to cover skin blemishes.
If you go to your doc, he may prescribe Tetracycline which is an antibiotic and you must take it for a long time, maybe months. It does work, but not in 4-6 weeks.
Wash with bi actol twice a day. It cleans the skin and prevents the build up that causes acne. use a bit of sudocrem on the bad ones to dry them out. good luck.
Use 0.5% retinol at night (get it from ebay and go easy with it) or go to your doctor and get some antibiotics. Try washing your face with something for sensitive skin more than twice a day and try not to use skin scrubs as they can cause more spots by making the skin produce more oil.
If it is of moderate severity go see your GP. A combination of a degreaser, based on peroxide, and oral antibiotics, minocycline, lymecycline or erythromycin, should see at least a significant improvement in about 6 weeks.
