Hashimotos Disease....what presently?

Last year in March I go to see an endocrinologist because I wasnt having my period only twice a year and my interview results for Thyroid came rear and they were too illustrious. They told me I had hypothyroidism which front to Hashimotos Disease. They put me on Atenolol which made me have my extent for like 3 days (in June)and it stopped. Then I go back for my other appointment and they took me stale Atenolol and told me to go home and come rear legs in 3 month. So I go back within October and they said my Thyroid gland is still big so they ran more blood test. They said everything was fine and I should come pay for in 5 months. If everything is fine next how come I still havent had my spell? Is it really Hashimotos Disease or is it something else? Does anyone know?

I am not on any birthcontrol pills or any other pills. I dont play sports or anything and I have have this problem with period since 8th grade so end year was my first time going to the doctor for it. I guzzle healthy foods and adjectives too.

It could be your body and Periods. and cartain drugs can affect it.
In Hasimotos, your thyroid enzymes attack your hormones thinking of it as an antagonist, which will caue periods to stop

I be diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis roughly speaking 10 years ago and I am on Synthroid 0.112 mg a day for the rest of my enthusiasm. I have my TSH (thryoid-stimulating hormone) checked every 6 months and it is stable. I hold never had menstrual problems, but I own also been on the pill for years. If you are worried, the personage to talk to is your OB/GYN. My know a lot something like the connection between menstrual cycles and the thyroid. It could possibly be another problem and not your thyroid cause the menstrual problems. Good luck and hope thing go better for you.
