What makes cystic acne go away?

Question:
I sometimes get huge cystic pimples on my cheeks, I only get a few at once but they're really bad. They're inflammed and red and about the size of a nickel. I've been trying epsom salt, proactiv and tanning. And nothing works! I just ordered Skintactix, but I'm very skeptic about using it. I'm thinking of ordering accutane. Does anyone know of anything natural that may be used to treat this type of thing? Or are they're any types of medications, prescription or not, that can be used? Please help, I'm desperate.

Answers:
My son had cystic acne all over his body. The cysts were so bad that the school kept sending him home, thinking he had some disease. I took him to a dermatologist, where he was treated with accutane. That totally cleared them up, and they never came back! Even scars from where he had had them disappeared. It was like a miracle.
There are therapies that work well which include large doses of retinol, but they have to be done under a Drs. prescription and you have to be careful about your liver and you CAN'T get pregnant while you're on them. Ask your Doc - it works very well.
Extreme Methods To Cure Bad Acne
The most common methods to get rid of acne are to use lotions and astringents, to wash correctly and lastly to eat properly.. Well for those (like I was) these simple methods may not be at all good enough to treat your acne problems.
