I was given a fentanyl patch 50 mgh. I am on 5 hydros a day 7.5's. will i b ok taking this i only have one?

my friend gave to me and said take this it will help your pain better. been on hydros for 2 yrs now. is fentanyl patch ok to use. should it b a 25mgh instead of 50. and listen i know i should speak with my doc no need to tell me that. of course i dont want him to know cause its a one time deal just to try out.

Well usually you would start out with at 25 changing it every 3 days! But i guess if u only had the 50 put the 50 on and dont take the Hydros and see how it works But im not sure of this its just my educated guess BUT I WILL REPEAT what you already know you should never take someone elses pain medication
