Travel insurance with heart condition?

Question:
i had an heart attack and need to purchase travel insurance

Answers:
The british heart foundation has a page for UK based travel insurance that are (supposedly) sympathetic for patients with heart disease wanting to travel outside the UK and in theory should be more reasonable.

Did you know for those travelling abroad, 60% of people do not have valid travel insurance (that includes people who might have insurance but do not realise it may be invalid due to non-disclosure of medical history or the insurance doesn't cover particular activities or injuries under the influence of alcohol!!)
Hi I have kidney failure, I purchased my travel insurance from a firm called worldwide travel insurance.
I have a serious heart condition, the only people that would talk to me and grant me cover were Freedom Travel, based in Cambridge, were not expensive
Try RIAS
I know my father paid over £100 travel insurance after cancer operation travelling Scotland to Tenerife
Hi,

Why don't you try Medici Travel?

They organise travel insurance with those with heart conditions. For further information, please click on the link below:

What you need to do is call them, and speak to an advisor who are experienced in dealing with customers with pre existing medical conditions. They will be able to take you through a few brief questions, and will aim to offer you a quote with the minimum of fuss.

Good luck!!
