Are there any types of incese that put of a dangerous smoke.?

Question:

i bought some putty like incense called Laxima dhoop that burns for hours and is very strong. It has been making me consider my cats health.

Answers:
As far as I know all smoke contains chemicals that we don't want to breathe too much of or too regularly. I'd suggest burning for a limited amount of time while your cat is outside or in another room. If he is on the floor, it also won't breath as much of the smoke.
Cats don't live as long as we would, so less concern about lung cancer in that respect also. Probably allergy would be the biggest problem, or perhaps inflammation in the lungs from the irritation.
