Can Dyshidrotic Eczema be hereditary?

Question:

Answers:
The exact cause of dyshidrotic eczema is not actually known. There are factors that are common in the occurrence of outbreaks like emotional stress, allergic reactions, etc.-and also there is a likelihood of genetic predisposition, but it has yet to be proven. I was diagnosed with it a couple of years ago and had really bad outbreaks-which are worse in the summertime. The dermatologist said that I was experiencing an allergic reaction to the oils in paper and prescribed a steriod cream, which helps, but can also be damaging over time.
