Why does my brother cough a lot when my grandma is around?

It's either psychosomatic or he's allergic to her perfume.
maybe hes allergic to something shes wearing.. a certian purfume maybe?
this is my guess, if your g-mother has TB then she coughs alot. coughing can be a mimcked thing, even without realizing it. you hear someone else cough and you cough, you may not even know it and if someone asks you you may not even remember. But considering he is fine when she's gone and considering she is probably taking medication i would guess your brothers body is just mimcking hers. nothing to be worried about
Maybe he is allergic to old people? or her perfume
allergic to either her perfume or her.
It might be that he is just mocking her or he is sympathetic to her disease.
He is nervous around her?
