My blood pressure is about 20 points higher on both numbers on my right arm. Is this normal?

Kelly - That is an interesting observation. Is the blood pressure in your right arm consistently 20 points higher than it is in your left arm? It may not be just your imagination. Differences in the blood pressure readings between arms DOES happen. Small differences in blood pressure readings between the left and right arms is not usually concerning. Sometimes the blood pressure in your dominant arm will run a few points higher, but the difference is usually 5 points or less.
A difference of 20 points is unusual and, while it may be normal for you, could possibly indicate an underlying problem such as narrowing of the main arteries to that arm or a narrowing in your aorta. Again, I definitely wouldn't panic over it, but if you haven't raised this concern with your doctor yet, I would make an appointment and have him/her check you out. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions. Good luck to you! Hope that helps!
i think your imagination is in full gear...if you get upset, your bp will go up fast..
If you think you are having problems, (which i doubt)...go to the local fire station, they will take your bp...
and, you can check out the cute fire men! hey wait for me I'll go with you lol...
