Is Prevacid Safe?

Question: A report just came out saying that heartburn medicine could lead to heart attacks/ heart disease and the studies did not include Prevacid.

I would imagine that it would then be safe. I used to take Prevacid and it works very well. Nexium works better because it helps heal the part of the esophagus that stomach acid has destroyed.
