Should I be worried for my life?

You did not say what part of the body was going to be examined with the MRI. If the MRI is of your head then possibly they are looking for a pituitary adenoma which is a tumor that might be causing a hormone imbalance. This type tumor is quite common and if necessary is often treated with drugs rather than surgery. Sometimes they just monitor the tumor but treat the low testosterone. Did you have to do a 24hr urine test? If so they are probably looking for a pituitary adenoma. If not, then we would need more information to give you anything but a wild guess.

they are looking into a hormone imbalance for pity sake, not a life threatening problem.
A hormone imbalance can be corrected with medication.
It's not life-threatening. Unless you get hit by a bus on your way to the MRI. <g>
