9mons. after heart bypass is it normal to have leg that vein was taken from have swelling and still some pain?

Question:

Answers:
yes indeed. throughout your life you still may feel twinges of pain from the surgery and from where the vein was taken due to possible nerve damage from the site.

but consider this: it's better to be able to feel the pain now than to be numb from death later.
Yes normal, mine is four years old and every now and then I can feel pain (slight) where the vein use to be.

I just say, "thanks vein, you are doing your job in another location".
Mine Is the same Case,in due course the pain subsided after tight bandaging, now its normal,no pain!
As your answer has been answer by everyone that it is quiet possible. So don't be upset. God has given pain only that much pain to you , which you can bear it easily. He has not given such pain to others who can't. So be happy in your life !
I would recommend a herbal remedy like tea made from terminalia arjuna plant. It is excellent remedy for coronary arteries blockages and heart problems. It prevents recurrence of coronary blockages.
