R Stints Fatal?


Question:
I am 15.10 years old. I have an enlarged spleen so after throwing up blood i underwent surgery in 2005. now I have a Renal Shunt that wont stay open. So the Drs. r putting and stint in. i was reading that a stint can be fatal. is this true?

Answers:
If it is fatal, they won't be putting it in you. There are complications to almost all procedures, but you must be in good hands, don't worry, you will be OK.
