How does an asthma test work?

Question:
I'm going to a clinic tomorrow to check whether i have asthma or not, but how do they find out ? Like what are the tests that the doctor does?

Answers:
A technician or doctor's assistant, after your consult with the physician, will do a pulmonary function test involving a spirometry test that measures how well your lungs exhale. You will be taking deep breaths and exhaling into a tube attached to equipment that will emit measurement results upon completion of the test. You will get sick and tired of hearing "Blow, blow, blow, blow." You will be blowing until you think your toenails will curl into your toes but, fortunately, the test only lasts a matter of minutes. They have you do it 3-4 times to get a good reading.

Happy blowing!
well he/she will most liely get a stethoscope and press it against your body (im not sure where, forgot) and if they hear wheezing you have asthma and also the conclude if asthma depending on the information youve given them such as coughing all night , etc. but there are others tests too but there as easy as this one so no need to worry..

p.s. they'll ask you alot of easy questions
They'll ask you a bunch of questions. Listen to your heart and lungs with a stethoscope. You'll also breath into a special machine that will measure your lung capacity.
None of the things that will happen at this doctor's visit will be painful or invasive.
