People with eating disorder does throwing up really make you lose weight?

Question:
I had an eating disorder but Im having a relapse I waa formerly Bulimic and Anorexic but I'm having a relapse of Bulimia

Answers:
100 lbs is too light for your height! I am 5'2" and I weigh 116lb at the most.

Don't listen to what other people say and don't bend to the peer pressure and what the stereotype of young girls should be. Be happy with yourself and the way you look. If people can't accept you for the way you are then they are not really worth getting to know.

You have taken the first step and admitted that you have a problem, so two thumbs up there and give yourself a pat on the back. Now, the next step is to ask someone to help you. Take a friend or family member you trust to the Dr with you and then everything else will fall into place from there. If at first you don't succeed then try and try again, eventually you will get there.

Good luck and keep your chin up. You should talk to your Dr about the bulimia, because there is help out there and it can work.
no, when you eat something and then puke the fat and the bad stuff stays in your body because its digested quickly, and the nutrients and the other good stuff leave. Thats why its so dangerous, try really hard not to do it.
The only way to lose weight is for your body to be burning more calories than it's taking in. Throwing up after you eat does prevent your body from absorbing most of the calories, but you also prevent your body from absorbing other nurtrients essential to good health, such as vitamins, minerals, and fiber.

Moreover, throwing up repeatedly can have horrible long-term effects on your throat. All that stomach acid repeatedly passing over your esophagus can damage it irreparably and cause excrutiating pain.

The best way to lose weight is to eat healthy and exercise frequently.
yes i tried it for 3 months until my mom found out seriously but sometime i still do it actually when i first started i was kind of overweight and i lost 36 pounds whenever i eat alot of food i make myself throw up or sometime i just eat any and everything so i can vomit...
Yes.. but it is very dangerous! AND STUPID! You loose weight the right way! Exercising and eating right helps more! AT LEAST YOU DON'T DIE!
Listen, the way you look isn't all that important.
There is more to life than peering into mirrors and
worrying about what people think of your looks.
WHAT you can do is more important than HOW you look doing it.
(Just my opinion).
Did you get 12-step treatment for your diseases? If you did, then you know the health effects of this behavior. If you did not, then you really need to.

You might not want to tell your family, but if you keep this up, THEY WILL FIND OUT! Instead, go talk to a nurse at your school, and ask for help with your disease. Be honest, and tell the nurse that you know you need help, but you don't want to tell your family.

BTW - if you feel like you CAN'T tell your family, then I would suggest that you are afraid to let them down, and that this would be a root of your disease.

You need help with this. It will have LONG LASTING effects that you WILL REGRET. You could lose your teeth. Thin, maybe... but toothless. Like that look? Your skin and eyes will be discolored and droopy from a lack of nutrition. Think that's hot? You will be weak, and unable to enjoy your favorite activities. Fun, huh? You will lose your hair. Is that your ideal look?

You need help. Right away. You can't do this on your own. You can suppress it for a little while, but you need a therapist and group work to REALLY stop this behavior.

This is your life. Do you really want to spend it starving hungry and throwing up over a toilet bowl?
yes it dose
I know it is hard to tell others about having an eating disorder, but you have conquered the hardest part which is recognizing you have a problem. I don't know if throwing up will help you lose weight, but it will really mess your body up in a lot of ways. Your teeth will erode from all of the acid, as well as damaging your throat and esophagus. Please take care of yourself and try to reach out to someone for help and support. Good luck!
1. That depends...

2. When a person judges & hates themself --like you are doing-- this is what is unattractive' about them. Weight isn't who you are!

Don't you find it ironic that You don't believe that Anyone else can understand, and yet you yourself don't seem to have a clue?

You've just judged All of us --collectively-- plus yourself... Negatively...
Isn't that the behavior you're attributing to us, & hating...?
It does Not make for the kind of person most people want to be around...

Rather than focussing on shallow material aspects,
you need to concentrate on deeper abstract aspects...

For others to like you, you have to like yourself.

For you to like yourself,

First you have to accept yourself, exactly as you are.
Then, you need to forgive yourself,
for whatever it is that you hold yourself guilty of,
(even if only subconciously).

Then... you need to do those same things toward others.

This is something that Bible principles guide a person to do.
Our Creator loves us, & wants us to love ourselves...
