You have to be male, only a man could talk about dying from a cold!
No! LMAO! Its annoying, but thats all.It usually starts 'cos you have an allergy.I had it.It may clear up on it's own,so don't worry.
Post-nasal drip is a common and troublesome symptom but it does not normally give rise to such severe symptoms as you describe. Post-nasal drip refers to the production of naturally-occurring mucus from the nasal passages in a greater than normal quantity. The mucus slowly slides down the back of the throat and in to the stomach where it is digested. Particularly after a cold, the mucus can become more catarrhal and thick and gives rise to the feeling of a lump in the throat, or a feeling of continually wanting to clear the throat.
Although a nuisance, the mucus is usually of an insufficient quantity to cause vomiting and I feel that this is a symptom which should be brought to your GP's attention. It may be that your constant spitting means that you are swallowing air, and this can cause sudden painless vomiting. Also, the more you spit, the more your salivary glands will compensate by producing saliva and this may be creating a vicious circle of over-production.
I suggest a programme of gradually trying to spit less and less. This should allow the salivary glands to return to a more normal level of production. This should be reflected in a considerable improvement in your symptoms.
No, you can't, silly. Usually it comes with a cold. There are over the counter meds you can take to clear it up, like Sudefed or allergy meds.
