Nut allergy sufferers in the UK?

Question:
Do you know if there are any companies that do packets of seeds such as pumpkin or sunflower that are suitable to eat if you have a nut allergy? I rally love toasted seeds and want to introduce them to my boyfriend but he's allergic to nuts and all the ones I can find say not suitable for nut allergy sufferers.

Answers:
Nut allergies can be extremely dangerous and sometimes fatal----maybe it's better not to introduce toasted seeds to your boyfriend.
Some people are only allergic to tree nuts, such as walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts, and they're not allergic to almonds (part of the stonefruit family) or peanuts (legumes). Your boyfriend should know exactly what he can and cannot have.
you need to be really careful as alot of these products are handeled and packaged in places that also deal with nuts, so he may still become ill if they have traced of nuts on them.
