Hemerrhoids?

Question:
External hemerrhoids:
Does it go away on its own? Is there anything to speed up the process? Or ease the symptoms?
And how long will it last for?

Answers:
Hemorrhoids are cause when you strain to have a bowel movement. The prevention is 1) not straining and 2) not becoming constipated.

The hemorrhoidal creams like Preparation H are great in relieving the discomfort like swelling, itch and pain. You can very gently push the tissue back inside, which will help since it doesn't belong outside in the first place. Just don't strain and push it right back out!
go to the pharmatist and they will advice there are creams and sprays availbale to ease all the symptoms. good luck.
Very rarely do they just go away on their own. Try witch hazel on a diaper wipe it really helps, also preparation H does the trick. They can last a couple days or for weeks. Hemorrhoids never really go away they are always there and just flare up when irritated.
You must watch what you eat and don't overly strain or excerise too much. The only thing that helps me is preperation-H and I get flare ups when I eat hot spicy food, so watch it. It will usually clear up in three or four days and the symptons will be relieved instantly with this product.
I get them quite a bit myself and Preperation H works really well for the itching. Call your doctor and ask him/her to prescribe you "ProctoFoam". It works REALLY well! Take warm baths too. Make the water as hot as you can handle and sit in the tub. This will help with the swelling. Hope this helps and good luck. They really are a pain in the a**!!
Hemorrhoids is something that could easy have been avoided The fact that you do not take in good roughage with your food increases your chances of developing it. To ease the pain and speed the healing, get prep ration H suppository and cream. To avoid a recurrence try and take about 4-6 glasses of water first thing in the morning. You will need to work your way up those number of glasses gradually so you don't get nauseated. Include in your daily diet lots of fibre e.g cabbage, wheat bread, carrots, lettuce etc. The easiest cause of hemorrhoid is that you do not defaecate regularly and when you do there is alot of pushing on your part because the faeces is hard.Hence when you push you tend to force out part of your rectum which is what you see come out when you go to the toilet.
If they start to bleed ,get them checked out by your doctor.
They can used a quick technique at the hospital called banding, where a small rubber band is applied to the hemorrhoid and then within a week the pile shrinks away.
I had it done and it wasn't painful, only took about 5 minutes to do,but i felt like a needed to go the loo alot of the time for about 5 days after it was done.
There are various creams and sprays that can relieve the symptoms and clear up the infection.

Good luck!
I havent a clue. Just found it funny that you have them HA HA.
