My blood pressure is always kind of high?

Question:
I am a 12 year old boy and my blood pressure is always kind of high. I take my blood pressure every day and it is usaullly about in the 130's over 80. I play sports and get kind of dizzy when I do. High blood pressure runs in my family and I'm scared. I think that I have hypertension, so I'm going to a doctor soon. Do you think if my blood pressure keeps being high that I will die soon? Do you think I will have a heart attak soon. Remember I'm just 12. Please tell me if you think I will have a heart attack

Answers:
first off you will not have a heart attack if you do take care of yourself and so far your are concern enough to post here so that's a big step.
remember no one else can do this for you but you. that's great you will see a doctor make sure you discuss all of what you've mentioned here. they might put you in some kind of medication for it but try to do it without it since you are still too young. I've been there and it sux when your the only young person taking meds that an 80 year old takes. so my advice to you is to start drinking lots of cold water this has helped me a lot .drink water as soon as you start feeling your heart rate going up. try some deep breathing exercises
try to engage in a cardio workout that is not to strenuous. or simply walk 45 minutes a day and increase
eliminate salty foods and salt over all
try not to eat fast foods(but once in a while is okay..ie.a birthday party or such)
don't drink any soda or coffee or anything that makes your heart work harder
having high blood pressure isn't always about what you eat,it can be stress or like you mentioned earlier it can also be hereditary(which has been my case).
try doing these things, talk to your doctor and
eliminate salt
hope all goes well with you
and good luck:)
You need to talk to your pediatrician about this. Don't take your blood pressure every day. Maybe you're not doing it right, and maybe that's normal for someone of your age. Worrying is going to give you a heart attack before this will. (No, I don't mean you're going to have a heart attack!) Talk to your mother. I'm a mom myself, and I'd want to know if one of my sons was this worried about something like this.
120's over 80 is a normal guide. If there is a history of hypertension in your family then it will need checking occasionally. You are 12, why are you taking your blood pressure? See your G.P. for a general check-up, he will reassure you. Cheers.
i dont reaaly know about u but for me, im going to the doctor on the 25th cuz mine is too low. im 12 too and my mom is worries about me cuz it keeps on dropping. the first time i went to the doctor was a couple months ago cuz i kept getting dizzy, blacking out, getting head/stomach aches, and having no energy. i dont think that u will die or have a heart attack but there is something wrong cuz u are the exact opposite of me and i was at ther emergency room. just try not to do as much activity and be careful.
wow! ur so young to be so paranoid.. Take it easy. I have High Blood pressure and no ur not going to die soon. If you keep getting crazy like that ur going to make urself sick.. Have ur parents take u to the doctor. Ur going to be fine..
