Found lump in breast, im 18?

Question:
im going to the doctors on monday. the area around/where the lump is, is painful when touched. seems like the lump is a bit movable, not really sure on that one. any ideas of what it could be?

Answers:
To the doctor you go.

My wife had a major lump removed when she was 16. The chance of it being cancerous is too great, even at your age.

She was sensitive about the scar, but I told her she was blessed to still be in good health. Scar did not bother me a bit.

You are more than your breasts. Don't let an illness in one kill you.
It could be a cyst. My friend had one in her breast, and she's 18, too. It was benign (not harmful) but they removed it anyhow. It happens suprisingly often. The mateiral inside the cyst pushes your tissues, makes things painful. But you should totally inform your doctor to make sure that it's nothing serious.
You could have cystic breasts- I have had this since a teen as well, usually they are more noticable a week or so prior to menstrual cycle and less noticable the rest of the month.
You may want to have an exam just to be sure.
