Try oatmeal for breakfast, it helps lower cholesterol. Switch over to whole grain wheat bread and pasta (if you are not already on the whole grain program).
Avoid butter, margarine, animal fat. Say yes to Canola and olive oil, the heart healthy oils that lower bad cholesterol and boost good cholesterol.
Take an iron supplement, but say no to red meat with your cholesterol.
Also, check out plant sterols, they really work. They are available over the counter under a variety of names, they block cholesterol from entering your body.
Exercise will also lower your cholesterol. Good you have a treadmill.
Urea is a small molecule that is produced in the liver from protein that you have eaten. It is normally put out by the kidneys, so blood levels rise as kidneys fail. However other things change the level of urea in your blood too, so that it is not a simple guide to kidney function. Here are some of the things:
Fluid - if you are short of fluid (e.g. drinking very little), your kidneys keep more urea in the blood
How much protein you have eaten
Liver disease can stop urea being produced normally
So do stay away from red meat, drink plenty of water, try beans as an alternate protein source.
Good luck!

I also have high cholesterol, high blood pressure and I am anemic also. You did not say whether your doctor put you on a strong iron pill. My doctor put me on Repliva once a day. I also am not sure if that is available where you are. When the dietitian came in to talk to me the indicated that portion size is the key and types of food. I believe they say that 6 oz is the most red meat you can have. Also, you can find iron in lots of green leafy vegetables as well. For example, spinach, broccoli, and cabbage.
