I have poison ivy or something I dont know what it is it itchys and it hurts I put calminlotion on it but It?

Question:
made it burn what can I use to get rid of the poison ivy?

Answers:
Depending on the severity, you may need to see a doctor for steroids either pills and/or shot. Even with this sort of treatment it takes time for the symptoms to get better. If it is not widespread on your body, Aveeno makes a great lotion that helps the rash dry out. Also, if it is Poison Ivy, be careful to wash EVERYTHING. The oil left behind from contact can cause continued suffering (I know this from experience)!
It might burn cause you've been scratching it. Stop scratching and see if it goes away on its own. If it spreads you may want to see a doctor before it gets out of hand.
Try putting honey on it. Honey is wonderful for the skin, & can even help with diabetic sores, I've read. It certainly can't hurt, & is easily washed off. Try it & let me know if it helps. I'm emailable.
