Coloured patch at side of vision?

have asked this question many times but with no avail! i get this coloured patch at the side of my vision that changes colour depending on which colour i look at, it is worse in the sunlight . i have had it for a good few years but it only used to last seconds or maybe hours now it can be weeks and happens in each eye!! doesnt affect direct vision and eye doc said dont worry.

Doesnt sound good to me. Have you been to a glaucoma specialist to check you out? Sometimes the general ophthalmologist misses a diagnosis. Its worth seeing the specialist. After all its your eyes.
do you have headaches when you get it?

can be migrains caused by stress.
